Terms of Use
These cover using this website. The work I actually do for you is governed by the written quote and agreement for your project, and if the two ever disagree, your agreement wins.
Who you are dealing with
This site belongs to Cross Designs, a web design and SEO studio run by Aiden Camacho in Kendall, South Florida. When you read "I" or "me" on this page, that is who it means. By using this site you are agreeing to what follows. If you do not agree with it, the honest answer is that you should not use the site.
Using this site
Read it, share it, quote it, send it to a friend who needs a website. What I ask you not to do is scrape it in bulk, copy the design and code wholesale for a competing site, attack it, try to break into anything, or use the contact form to send spam, threats, or somebody else's information. Submitting deliberately false information through the form is not useful to either of us.
What is on this site
The writing, drawings, layout, and code here are mine and are protected by copyright. Client logos, client photographs, and client business information shown in the portfolio belong to those clients and appear here with their permission. You are welcome to link to any page on this site without asking me.
Prices and quotes
Any price, package, or range shown on this site is a starting point to help you budget, not a binding offer. The number that counts is the flat quote I put in writing for your specific project after we have talked about what you actually need. I do my best to keep this site accurate, but if a page here and your written quote disagree, the quote is the real one.
Project work
Nothing on this page creates a working relationship by itself. Sending me a form does not hire me, and reading this does not obligate either of us to anything. When we do work together, the terms that matter live in the written agreement for your project: scope, price, schedule, revisions, ownership of the finished site, and what happens if either of us needs to stop. That document governs the work. This page governs the website you are reading.
Material you send me
When you send me logos, photos, copy, reviews, or anything else to put on your site, you are confirming you have the right to use it and to let me publish it on your behalf. That matters more than people expect, because a photo pulled off Google can turn into a real bill from a stock agency. If you are unsure where something came from, tell me and we will find something we can use safely instead.
You keep ownership of everything you send me. You are giving me permission to use it for the purpose of building and maintaining your site, and nothing beyond that.
Showing the work
Unless you tell me otherwise, I may show work I have built for you in my portfolio, in case studies, and in the occasional post about how a project went. If you would rather I did not, say so at any time and I will take it down. That request never costs you anything and never changes what I charge.
What I cannot promise
Nobody can guarantee a specific position in Google, including me, and anyone who does is either guessing or lying. Search rankings depend on your competition, your reviews, your location, how long your site has existed, and changes Google makes without telling anyone. What I can promise is that your site will be built correctly, structured the way search engines expect, and that I will tell you the truth about what is working. Results from past projects are real but they are not a forecast of yours.
Links to other sites
This site links out to client websites, tools, and reference pages I did not build and do not control. Following one takes you somewhere governed by somebody else's terms and privacy practices, and what happens there is not something I can answer for.
The site is provided as it is
I keep this site accurate and online to the best of my ability, but I am not promising it will never have an error, never go down, or be suitable for a particular purpose you have in mind. Use it as information, not as professional advice about your specific situation.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website, such as lost profits or lost data. This paragraph is about the website. It does not limit anything I owe you under a signed agreement for actual project work, and it does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute about this website belongs in the state or federal courts serving Miami-Dade County, Florida.
Changes to these terms
I may update this page as the business changes. When I do, the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to use the site after that means the updated version applies to you.
