Royal Soles: the build story.

A sneaker shop with real counter culture and a stock Shopify theme that showed none of it. The job: make the online store feel like walking in, on rails solid enough to sell one-of-one inventory.

What the build delivers.

01

Custom theming end to end

Shopify underneath, the shop's own character on top. No section of the storefront is stock.

02

A live drop countdown

Releases run on hype and timing, so the site counts down for real and the drop moment actually lands.

03

Buy-sell-trade flow

The counter's core business, brought online: sell and trade inquiries move through the site instead of DMs.

04

Built for one-of-one inventory

A catalog structured for single-item stock, where sold means gone and the listing behaves accordingly.

the thinking

The decisions that mattered.

The discipline was keeping Shopify's plumbing while refusing its look. Sneaker buyers can smell a default theme instantly, and trust in this market is aesthetic before it is anything else. The build spends its effort exactly where the customers' judgment lives.

let's talk

Start a project.

Tell me what your business does and what you need. You get a real reply with next steps and a flat quote, not a sales pitch.

A name helps me reply to a person, not a form.
That looks incomplete. Try something like you@email.com.
Pick the closest one. We can sort the details later.
Give me a sentence or two so I can come prepared.

Got it. I'll be in touch shortly. Thanks, friend.

Hm, that didn't go through. Email me instead: cross@crossdesigned.com
